Uchhamani Rules

These rules are intended to keep the Uchhamani fair and smooth. The Temple Uchhamani team’s decisions are final.
1) Eligibility
  • All bidders must be registered and approved before bidding.
  • By participating, you agree to follow these rules and any announcements made during the Uchhamani.
2) Bid Increments & Minimums
  • Starting bid may be $251 (as shown on the item).
  • When the current bid is $10,000 or less, the next bid must be at least +$500 above the current bid.
  • Above $10,000, the next bid must exceed the current bid.
3) Online Bidding
  • Online bidding is offered as a convenience and may be affected by internet/device issues.
  • The Uchhamani team is not responsible for missed bids due to connectivity, device time settings, or technical problems.
4) Closing & Winning
  • The highest valid bid at closing wins.
  • If two bids are identical (rare), the earlier accepted bid wins (based on system timestamp and audit logs).
  • Online Bidding until March 07 12:00AM 2026, after that time bidding will continue at the Temple, currently schedule for March 07 2026 from 1PM to 6PM. If any changes, will be announced on the Temple Whatsapp groups. The Uchhamani team may extend/adjust timing if needed to ensure fairness.
5) Payments
  • Payments are due by April 30th 2026
  • Payment instructions will be provided by the Uchhamani team.
  • All sales are final unless the Uchhamani team announces an exception for a specific item.
6) Bidding for Sponsorship only
  • No actual items involved in this Uchhamani; you are bidding for religious services only.
7) Conduct
  • No bid retractions. Please bid carefully.
  • All participants must act respectfully and in good faith. The Shree Umiya Mataji Temple of KY reserves the right to protect the integrity of the auction and enforce these rules at its sole discretion. Any misuse, abuse, or manipulation of the online bidding platform is strictly prohibited. Prohibited behavior includes, but is not limited to: fraudulent or deceptive activity; fake or misleading bids; bidding with no intent to pay; collusion or coordinated bidding; bid intimidation; harassment or inappropriate conduct toward participants or volunteers; creating multiple accounts to gain an advantage; attempting to bypass platform rules or security; using automated tools or bots; attempting to exploit bugs, system limits, or technical issues; intentionally causing confusion or disruption; pressuring other bidders; attempting to access, interfere with, or modify any account or platform operation; or any other mischievous, malicious, or disruptive activity intended to gain an unfair advantage or undermine a fair auction. Violations may result in immediate removal from the auction, cancellation of bids, disqualification, suspension of bidding privileges, and exclusion from future participation. Such conduct may also impact eligibility for future Shree Umiya Mataji Temple of KY events, trustee activities, and related benefits. Final decision by SUMT Executive Committee
8) Final Authority
  • The Uchhamani team’s decisions are final in all matters.
  • Rules may be updated; the latest posted rules apply.
